N.L. achieves immigration target ahead of schedule, sets new goal

The Newfoundland and Labrador government announces that they have exceeded the province’s immigration target two years ahead of schedule. The initial target to welcome 1,700 permanent residents annually by 2022 has been newly increased to 2,500 permanent residents annually by 2022.
