Alta. government improves access to health care training

The Alberta government invests an estimated $3.8 million in a two-year pilot program that integrates English language learning with health care aide training. The project will help meet the growing demand for front-line health care workers while enabling Albertans with English language barriers to access education. A successful pilot will also provide a model to expand integrated English language training to other programs and professions.
